It's funny-- my old roommate has a little Henry Winkler story from a bunch of years ago that is like the polar opposite of your experience. They were about to pass each other on a crowded street. He saw him recognize her-- her eyes lit up-- but before she could say anything he pointed at her & gave her a big joyous wave & said hello. That was it. But it made her day & she was happy to talk about that little NYC encounter for years.
Just goes to show that we shouldn't judge these celebrities by one singular encounter. As other people have pointed out, if they come off as "rude" it could be that they are just having a bad day.
So just know that Henry Winkler probably isn't the a**hole that you always assumed he was! |
