| The Gilded Age wrapped up its first season on HBO last night, and if the show itself seemed like a pale imitation of Downton Abbey, the parade of New York theater actors the show employed was incredibly fun. I was struck from the very first episode just how stacked the cast was, and I kept a tally all season long. I thought some here might find it fun, too. Over 9 episodes, The Gilded Age featured 20 Tony nominated actors, who have accumulatively earned 68 Tony nominations and 25 Tony wins! An embarrassment of riches, to be sure.
