| $3.5m for music man. That’s insane for a non-holiday week show. Most of the rest of the shows are surprisingly good. $1.6m for plaza suite is certainly higher than I thought. Paradise square at $355k is low but it is previews. I think the biggest surprise is Harry Potter combined show is at $1.7m—combining them was a good move to keep the show open. | |

| Perhaps, but it comes down to this: Do I think "North Country" will re-open if it has to move theaters? No. Do I think "Mockingbird" will find a different theater than the Belasco? Maybe. Do I think one of the two will re-open at the Belasco by summer? Probably. |

| Girl isn’t even listed on telecharge anymore. It was a few days ago. But someone posted the casting call for April start—less than a month away. Mockingbird is more likely to return based on previous gross numbers, but doesn’t seem like anything happening for June start—2 months away. Very bizarre. |

| Go to BroadwayLeague.com. Under the heading of RESEARCH & STATISTICS, click: All Broadway Grosses & Attendance That should bring up a chart of all the shows currently on Broadway. Click onto the show's title and you get a graph. If you go along the graph, it'll show you the grosses of the past 6 months, apparently for most of the shows. So far, it doesn't look like there are graphs for some of the newer shows, like ''The Music Man'' or ''MJ.'' (Anyone have luck finding the info for shows NOT currently running, like ''Girl From the North Country'' or ''Mrs. Doubtfire''?) And while there's an easy-to-read table of grosses for last week, I didn't see similar tables for the previous 6 months. The site says it's ''aware of some display issues on the graph'' and ''search results'' and is working to correct them. |

| As a fan of both, I'm hoping you're correct. My fear is: Girl from the North Country would have trouble finding an audience in any economic climate. As much as I love the show, I think it's a challenge to market; the Dylan songs tethered to a Depression narrative isn't a quick log line -- not an out of towner's must-see -- and as someone said to me, "It's good, really? It just sounds depressing." That depresses me, but it's not surprising. Hoping for its return, so that Tony nominations will at least give it the street cred it earned. |

| ''The Music Man'' posts a premium ticket price of $697 and ''Plaza Suite's'' top premium is $549. Are these records or the ''new normal''? | |

| For non holiday weeks and 998 holiday. Hello dolly was 998 for front row for bette performances Plays are a little different 500 seems to be the high for death of a salesman in 2012 and fences was 425 in 2010. So 549 might be a record for a play. |

| Same - we gave up on one restaurant to go to another with a shorter line on Saturday (granted, it was a beautiful day) - the city was bustling. | |
