| " Are all NY audiences now fangirls screaming after every number? Are they the only ones who can afford tickets?" This seems to be the norm now I noticed. When I recently saw COMPANY, the audience squealed and applauded any time Patti Lupone stepped a foot onto the staged throughout the performance. They screamed over many of her lines and endings of songs. It is very annoying, but I'm afraid this is where we are at. |
