| Let's face it: the OP posed an intentionally provocative rhetorical question. This poster does this fairly routinely. That's their right as far as I am concerned but they are going to get called on how they use the device, as they have been here. I'll just point out one more thing (that I point out fairly routinely): there are no rules. Had the OP want to avoid provocation, the path would have been simple: "I saw the show, the standby was in for the lead, the standby was no good." And the funny thing is, that post would have likely provoked some decent substantive discussion. |
