But as has been discussed before, some of the same complaints about the take on the role were made of Matthew Morrison's performance as well. As if this was part of Bart Sher's take on the character, simply executed by the actors. (I didn't see Morrison, this is just what I remember being said.)
But I agree with you. And I also thought the decision to include "My Girl Back Home" seemed a bit of a wrong note with this take on Cable.
