ASL: Perhaps we're not supposed to hear every word?

Adding to the comments below about sound issues with A Strange Loop at the Lyceum, combined with the muddy performance this week on Late Night and now my thoughts after listening to the 5 just-released tracks off the upcoming OCR: I think that poor mixing, bad heavily-amped orchestrations and the "wall of sound" that creates, intricate harmonies in the vocal arrangements performed by a cast that's become lazy three years into doing this show - - in my opinion that creates a perfect storm of why we strive to understand this challenging music. Disclaimer: I'm not seeing it until June 5...I'll gladly eat my hat if the production has resolved these apparent issues by then...
