It was a cute sketch. Perhaps a little more The Play That Goes Wrong with a full-frontal nudity joke, but obviously the connection to Take Me Out was clear.
Though I did wonder, for the segment of the TV audience that isn't up on their NYC theatre news, how many of them knew what the point was, lol.
For that matter, they should have thrown in a Patti LuPone moment lol. |
