What did people make of Ryan's long description of his experience finding a matchbook in a shack under a high tension line? Keith looked utterly flummoxed by it. I wondered if it was meant to indicate Ryan might be on the verge of the kind of breakdown his mother and grandfather had experienced. In terms of symbolism, I couldn't find anything in it that seemed relevant. Did anyone else?
