Yes, ''9 to 5'' still holds the record for most Drama Desk nominations: 15. That's also one more than ''The Producers.''
The Drama Desk members didn't share the nominators' enthusiasm; ''9 to 5'' went 1 for 15, winning only for Allison Janney as Best Actress.
The year before that (2008), the Drama Desk nominators showered ''A Catered Affair'' with 12 nominations. It went 0 for 12 at awards time. |
