I've hardly forgotten the Hair era--I was 18 at the time of the original Broadway opening and starting to grow my own hair longer--but even then, no male's hair "billowed to the floor" whether or not it was "unfastened." I've seen men with hair down to their ass, but never any farther. So, what--"I'd like to waste a week or two before my chances pass, / To wear my hair unfastened, 'til it billows to my ass"? There's a lyric for you! : )

I've never seen or heard of anyone kissing a man or a boy on the eyes. I wouldn't know what the gesture (or the phrase) meant if I had. (Actually, I've never been quite sure what the original "girl" lyric means either. But at least it sounds good.)
