In the IndieWire article, Cinco Paul raves: ''Aaron’s so phenomenal [in 'Schmigadoon!'] and totally got how to play this character [Danny Bailey] and play it with such sincerity and intensity. The character is not in on the joke, but it makes all the jokes funnier because of that.''
Kristen Lopez, who wrote the piece, says Tveit's performance ''showcases the joy, heart and humor that makes 'Schmigadoon!' so special.''
Reposting every few months about how Tveit doesn't smile enough (for your tastes), probably won't change his behavior.
Fortunately, for him, Tveit's managed to have quite a thriving, award-winning career on stage and screen, nevertheless. |
