Ha ha. Good for you.
Years and years ago, I managed to get tix to a taping of “Will & Grace” for a pal’s birthday. He was a fan. We flew out to LA and waited in line (in a parking garage) for an hour or so, only to be told “the redhead called in sick” and the taping was canceled.
I was fine with that — I always found that show insipid. I mean, there’s an episode where Hack believes in Santa Claus!
But my pal was incensed. I kept telling him that she was sick and you can’t really argue that. Later that day, at dinner, he was flipping through a website and found pics of her out on the then very late the night before.
I can honestly say, I don’t think he ever watched the show again. |
