Years ago I saw Lucie Arnaz in "Once Upon a Mattress" in a Kenley Players production. A bat flew out during "Song of Love," and in the midst of the number cataloguing all of Winifred's skills, Lucie ad-libbed, "And next I'm gonna kill that damn bat."
