| An entertaining, breezy and fun evening, featuring a clever book, talented engaging performers (several with outstanding voices), a succession of amusing costumes, and smart lyrics set to melodies that you may recognize. All well-directed and paced. Far exceeded our expectations given the venue’s location (42nd St at 11th Avenue). Last Tuesday night, I counted only a handful of vacancies in this 160 seat theater. One of those rare recent occasions where a standing ovation was deserved but did not happen. By the way, Mamma Mia’s Judy McLane is appearing in the show. Go see it! |
