If you liked the original STAR TREK, the one from the sixties, the new series ST: STRANGE NEW WORLDS is the closest thing to the first series in five decades of spinoffs. It’s set on the Enterprise before Captain Kirk, under Captain Pike with Spock (Ethan Peck, Gregory’s grandson, absolutely channeling Leonard Nimoy) and very young Cadet Uhura (Tony nominee Celia Rose Gooding, LaChanze’s daughter).
