Claybourne Elder: A 'Company' man and a class act

Just read on BroadwayWorld's message board: Elder paid for the tickets for everyone who was in line for rush for today's ''Company'' matinee.

Earlier this season, Elder had started a campaign to give away tickets as a way to pay forward a stranger's generous gesture in the past.

(For the record, I think Elder is delightfully goofy and great as Andy in ''Company,'' and should've been Tony-nominated, alongside Matt Doyle.)
