| Agreed ; have never understood the love for Porter ; all surface, no depth ; always all about him which makes it more distasteful to have him featured in this segment of the show ; years ago, I attended a performance of a mediocre play written by Porter and he distractingly held court in the audience during the intermission ; he has consistently followed through by continually displaying his self-admiration through the years ; is it too much to hope that his 15 minutes of fame has run its course ? And, was it just my ear, but wasn't he off key during a lot of this performance ? |
