I did think the choice of song was kind of genius and by Billy Porter standards, he was subdued. Normally I can't stand him but I managed to stomach his preening self-love tonight.
I'd rather have left it at Laurence Fishburne's eloquent, moving introduction and let the names and faces speak for themselves. |
