| Totally agree this was the only performance that was magical although the Girl From the North Country ensemble gave a beautiful performance and made me want to go. Strange Loop just looked self-indulgent. The choices for musical revival were puzzling. With it almost a sure bet that Patti and Matt would win, why wouldn’t you feature one of their show stopping numbers, and Music Man picked one of the most boring songs in the score just to show off tapping. If the goal is to encourage people to plunk down several hundred dollars this didn’t do it. |
