| He was the sine qua non of the musical. I think Cher was likely thanked by Block and, last night, Bob Dylan was thanked. I think it is clear there was a decision how to orchestrate the connection to Michael and I thought they did it deftly with the kids and then with light-touch mention by Frost. Considering how much was made of MJ around here in terms of "people will boycott it" etc, I think they managed to overcome all that (recognizing that we here tend to magnify certain types of issues in our own way). |
