I'm not sure why they keep using the opening number for their promo performances (other than that it uses the whole cast).
It plays as it's directed and intended, which makes no sense out of context. It's uncomfortable because Bobbie is uncomfortable. It's cramped because she feels cramped. By itself, it just leaves you wanting to avoid those people because their party had such a bad vibe.
