| My guess is that the set pieces and props needed for Sutton's playing an actual Marian scene might have been too unwieldy to transport to RCMH, especially since TMM played its usual matinee. Hence, they decided on the big, brassy curtain call--admittedly, an unusual choice. And no, Hugh Jackman did NOT sing off-key as someone here alleged. At any rate, the audience seemed to love it. |
