It was during the first hour on Paramount+.
Len Cariou spoke, unfortunately awkwardly, with some difficulty following the prompter and/or remembering what he was to say - although it was still great to see him. Then they showed what some of us have been calling a rather "corporate powerpoint" presentation of her career. Then, the NYC Gay Men's Chorus sang a well-done rendition of "Mame." All in all it wasn't quite the tribute I'm sure we all would have hoped for, though it was still good that they did it at all. |
