On my last visit to London I saw Back To The Future for the 5th time. At another show a local pro asked me why I would see Back To The Future so much and I said, It makes me happy.
The show begins the second act with a fantasy/dream sequence. How may other musicals have the same format?
As I was seeing ABBA Voyage during the trip I went back to see Mamma Mia and had forgotten that it also features a dream sequence at the top of act two. This group has numerous historians and wonder if there are dozens of shows that use that sweet spot at the start of the second act to have a fantasy/dream sequences that don't necessarily add to the shows story, but is just a bit of fun. |
