| So perhaps you would like the advertisement for casting to say Caucasians need not apply even though they are 60% of the American population and are 90% of the theater audience . I believe Ariana would make a wonderful Charity and Ruthie Anne Myles would be terrific in light in the Piazza but I think that a producer and a Director should be able to choose the best persons for a show they are producing . I am waiting for an organization to be formed which will find ways to greatly expand the minority attendance in the theater . There are often more minority actors on stage than in the audience which is a shame . |
