| You've hit the nail on the head. NPH was the beneficiary of the best ever openings and closings. He got the best ever opening and don't forget it took LMM and his craftmates to put together that amazing closing they wrote in the moment so NPH could seem like a rap superstar. And don't overlook the fact that NPH's material EMBRACED how hard he had to work. The notion that you can do this gig without trying too hard is just wrong. As with everything in the theatre, it's about making it LOOK easy. |
