As others have said, there is no way Jackman would make up a story he had a contagious disease of any kind the day after he interacted with potentially hundreds of other people in the industry. And Jackman, being a nice guy, wouldn't do that to the 14,000 people who bought tickets to see him over the next 8 days.
If Jackman and/or the producers wanted to give Clayton a chance, they could have used his August vacation week, which is currently not on sale. If things go well this week, I would expect that week will go on sale shortly, unless the company has already all been given that week off for vacation as well. |
