It’s a fun show that walks the fine line between game service and telling the story on its own terms. The score is pleasantly serviceable (though the sound design is atrocious from the second balcony), the cast is having a ball, and the spectacle delivers.
There are a lot of Americans involved, so I can’t imagine Broadway isn’t the end goal. |
