| I'm not saying i disagree that it seems soon to give Piazza the Encores treatment... and I do think Chicago got swallowed by the Chorus Line tidal wave, so it was less recognized than Piazza which at least won Best Score and Best Actress Tony Awards (Chicago got neither, but deserved both -- not necessarily to beat ACL, but it was very deserving of both on its own terms), and it just had a fairly notable tour starring global opera (and recording, and bway) star Rene Flemming and Disney(?) star Dove Cameron. |
