I wrote elsewhere that I was involved about 30 years ago in a reading with the entire script and the score. I would have to find both and listen to them again (I do have them) to see what was included, but it was the show that major producers and a famous director were thinking of reviving at the time. The cast was first rate and Tony award winning. It was wonderful and I have loved the show ever since. I have the script that was used then and a recording of the score I am not sure if the ones included were from the original Broadway show or a rewritten version, but the script should indicate that when I locate it. I think much of what was written originally was collected by someone at that time for the reading. It was done with an orchestra so that indicated someone arranged the music or it was the original orchestrations. I know that they were looking for some rewrites and I worked the show for awhile. I do wonder why the show stopped there and didn't go on. Sadly, most of the people involved are no longer with us.
