| I think your question is too complex to be answered on this board because there are so many variables involved. What do the existing musicians think? Who is doing the music coordination? Is she supplying arrangements for everything or are the musicians working it out together? There are limitless combos of instruments that will sound fine if the arrangements are good, so I don't necessarily agree that you have to have a violin. Amplification could solve any sound issues from it being an outdoor venue but all of that has to be planned in advance. What does the venue provide? |
