If you look on YouTube, you can find ''Cry-Baby's'' songs from its studio CD, as well as various clips from the show itself.
At ''Cry-Baby,'' I ran into Thomas Meehan, who co-wrote the book with O'Donnell, and told him how much I loved it. He was so gracious.
He was also disappointed it wasn't a hit like ''Hairspray,'' another John Waters film he & O'Connell adapted for B'way (& for which they won Tonys). |
