I saw Harlem Rep's Flahooley. It was messy but fun. The score - in particular, the lyrics, are terrific. I was a big fan of Rachel Lily Rosenbloom - that's when I fell in love with Ellen Greene. I also saw The Lieutenant, which was about the court martial of William Calley. It seemed an odd choice for musical adaptation, but was not without merit, and was nominated for Best Musical. The authors have been looking for a theatre to revive it ever since it closed.
