| I find hugh Jackman to be charmless and his voice grates on me. I jumped when I heard Max would be on as I don't want to see it with Hugh. Max was sensational, dynamic, his dancing effortless, and exuding charm. And oh, that smile! To each their own. I thought he elevated a mostly lousy production (all look, no heart) besides its stellar choreography. Much as I think Sutton is miscast, I enjoyed her Marian. Seconding Nick Alvino - he was terrific as Tommy. Had no idea he was an u/s. His dancing is FABULOUS! |
