With all due respect, have you read this fucking board in the last three months? Even by our fairly passionate (or hysterical) standards, the rancid vitriol flung at Feldstein has been stomach churning. People turning the idea that she’s giving a “high school performance” into a meme, people salivating over her absences and picking apart her professionalism, people gleefully wishing she would leave so that her (thin, conventionally attractive) understudy can take over, people piling on at the mere mention of her name.
That is not normal, even for this site. Disliking a performance is not irrational, and we can dissect whether hating is irrational, but certainly the expression of that hate has been irrational and at times rather scary. I’m surprised you don’t see that, but I’m not going to question your credibility because I guess I think more highly of you than you do of me. |
