| Does anyone know of a site that lists (or some other way to find out about) recent Broadway sheet music, vocal selections, etc.? I keep attending shows and long to be able to sit at the piano and belt out these new numbers, but they are never available for months or years (or never) afterward. I'd love an easy way to find out if the music to Here Lies Love or Jagged Little Pill (not the pop song, but the vocal arrangements for the musical) or, heck, Valmouth might be available (but I'm giving up on that last one). I'd just love to see all the shows listed by production date, with whether or not the sheet music's been published. Surely someone's come up with that before now? (Or perhaps not, which is why I can't find it!) |

| Jwpepper.com is a great source. Here Lies Love and Jagged Little Pill haven’t been commercially released yet. | |

| If you really really want the published sheet music from VALMOUTH I can send you scans. Email me. | |

| I don't know of any site that aggregates information like this. I doubt it exists. But you could probably get information about current and upcoming releases by calling Theatre Circle. It's the only place left in NYC that I know that consistenly stocks a large selection of vocal selections. In the old days I used to browse The Colony because they always had the latest. Although I would then try to find it for purchase somewhere else. I know that was no help to their business, but their markup was just too much. As a tourist I got my Follies and Passion full scores there, but it was too much to pay for more frequent purchases once i moved to the city. You could also try browsing Hal Leonard. While I can't imagine they publish them all, it looks like they carry over 300 vocal selections. You can sort them by release date. Jagged Little Pill is there! |

| Thank you—I miss the Colony, I usually just checked it twice a year (when I was in town, I'm from Vancouver) and that was enough to be certain I wasn't missing anything new! I had no idea Jagged Little Pill had been released. I'll browse Hal Leonard immediately. |

| My pleasure! And thanks to the OP for prompting me to do the research. I saw several interesting things on HLP, such as a recently revised Rags book, and a book for Caroline, or Change, which I had no idea was available commercially! I haven't browsed for new show sheet music in AGES, and I am embarrased to say that the last book I bought was A Christmas Story. I am sad that I haven't found many recent scores inspiring me to want to take a deeper dive into the nuts and bolts of their musical composition. No doubt this is due in part to the profileration of jukebox musicals. Although I like some of them, I have never found pop music to be that interesting to play on the piano because it tends to be musically simplistic and often relies on a "band" to give it the things that make it satisfying. I was close to buying War Paint because it's musically rich and complex and seemed like someting I could sink my teeth (hands) into, but my lukewarm feelings about the show as a whole kept me from shelling out the cash. But I would like to find a single of Pink! |

| I also include vocal selections books in the Talkin' Broadway Sound Advice updates (posted on All That Chat, available by email, and all are archived on the site), when I know of them. I think the Jagged Little Pill book was listed in September 2020. | |
