| Is James Vincent Meredith in The Minutes now? Is it possible you meant the other black Steppenwolf actor, K. Todd Freeman? | |

| Ah! Thank you. He was swell in the role in Chicago! Good for him (I loved him in Teeth and love him generally)! I even checked IBDB before I posted to make sure I wasn't mistaken and they don't list the replacement... but Playbill does. I bet on the wrong horse. Explains why (to my dismay) Meredith bailed on the production of Choir Boy here at Steppenwolf. |

| If the cause is covid everyone must be informed. People close to them - audience included - must know, for themselves and their family, if they've been exposed to this highly contagious virus. | |

| Ventilation is more important than distance in an enclosed space. I think it really depends on how well the air is circulated. Have theaters upgraded their ventilation? I did a quick search but did not find stories stating that they have. Kimberly A. Prather, PhD, the Distinguished Chair in Atmospheric Chemistry, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, has long been advocating for better filtration. This explanation about distance is from a FAQ about covid-19 that Prather wrote with 11 other scientists:
The SF Gate article talks about why the 6-feet rule should be reconsidered and refers to a Swiss study that "demonstrated that SARS-CoV-2 can be spread by aerosols over distances of at least 8 meters (26 feet)." Also, check out the the COVID-19 Indoor Safety Guideline site the lets you run different hypothetical situations using room specification, population, behavior, age group, and viral strain. |
