It's inked for the Winter Garden once MM ends. The creatives have been to do the specs

I would have thought MM would play with a few replacement casts for a year or so. The 2000 revival played 20 months. Maybe BTTFuture is meant for 23/24 season.

If I had to guess, I’d say you’re right, dramedy. Maybe it opens sometime I next summer?

Some gossipy posts need to be taken with a grain of salt. First, creatives checking out a theatre does not equate to a deal. Lots of times multiple theatres are checked out. Second, I am willing to bet a pair of the finest house seats that nothing has been "inked." I recommend a few deep breaths :-)

My post about it, after seeing it here, bears repeating:

The musical version of “Back to the Future” was derivative in ways that made it fun. Lots of references to other musicals and pop culture: light sabers anyone? Two and a half hours flew by, and the climactic set of special effects was truly special.

You’re welcome,

Bill Eadie
