Am I remembering correctly that there was at least gossip at the time that she was up for the live TV version of Peter Pan? And that there were other pop stars, including young men, floated about as possibilities, to aim for the ratings success they had with Carrie Underwood in Sound of Music?
I remember Brian Williams' daughter being rather bland, though perhaps not quite as stiff as Carrie Underwood (and most of the SOM cast) had been. But the last straw for me was Christopher Walken totally going up on his lines in his first scene as Hook. By that point I had had enough. Pink wouldn't have saved it for me.
