On YouTube, CBS has posted all of the musical numbers from nominees at the Tonys, except Company for some reason, plus a few other highlights. Here are their view numbers from this morning:
Opening Number with Ariana DeBose 251K
Paradise Square 206K
Six 181K
MJ 173K
The Music Man 147K
Spring Awakening reunion 140K
A Strange Loop 97K
A Strange Loop Acceptance Speech for Best Musical 25K
Take Me Out Acceptance Speech for Best Revival 8K
Mr Saturday Night at 37K and Girl from the North Country at 15K were not released right away so have lowered numbers at least partially from that.
So Paradise Square has generated the most interest, although these are all pretty small numbers so I'm not sure how well that will translate to sales.
I'm struck by how far down the list A Strange Loop is - about half the views that Paradise Square has. |
