With no album or filming of it, and being off-broadway with almost no marketing compared to a Broadway run, and having a short run where not that many people saw it... I don't disagree.
Buuuuut. I also consider the CSC Sondheim revivals to be major revivals, album or not, and I consider the Barrow Street Sweeney a major revival despite no album or filming, and I consider all Encores revivals to be major, especially the ones that were good. Not "major" like Broadway", but I think they are high profile enough, and in nyc. Of course if they got an album then they count no question, for me. But this Sweet Charity really flew under the radar outside of the like 5 months around when it was coming up and running... and got no documentation at all. |
