This is not accurate at all! At the Atlantic the jail cell took up maybe the front 3rd of the stage and looked like the entirety of the set. (I believe they did have a deep enough trap). When the set changed, since there was no wing space nor fly space, the first set somehow folded into stage right like origami, revealing the back part of the bar, and becoming the front part of the bar. It was like a Transformer! I actually thought it was much greater theater magic then simply flying the whole room off.

Thanks MonkeysAndWho! It's especially impressive when off-Broadway theaters achieve these. I still remember the eye-popping change midway through A Life at Playwrights Horizons, but that's a different story.

What is "not accurate at all"? I said a) they did not do the set change as on Broadway or West End and b) the Atlantic has no fly space.
