| I'm going on vacation at the end of July—to a country that requires a negative test for entry—and there's no WAY I'm going to risk getting Covid by attending a Broadway show in the weeks beforehand. | |

| Masks don’t guarantee you won’t catch it of course so why were you planning on going to theater anyway? | |

| They do when people wear masks the entire time and wear the right ones. For that reason, I think they did help in theaters that don't allow eating and drinking. | |

Can we assume you're also avoiding restaurants, public transportation, bars, grocery stores, concerts, and sporting events? I don't know where you're vacationing to, but I pray it's not to see shows in London. |

I don't know where you're vacationing to, but I pray it's not to see shows in London. As much as I'm able, yes. So if you're looking for hypocrisy, try elsewhere. The UK does not require a negative Covid test for entry. |

If it is in fact UK you're going to, be aware that theatre is unmasked there, and you'll need a negative Covid result to return to the US, unless the US has changed their policy lately. At any rate, that was how it was when I was in London 3 weeks ago. |

| The CDC changed their policy on June 12th. You no longer need a negative covid test result to return to the U.S. I was in Spain, Corsica, Italy, Sicily, Croatia, and Switzerland in April. At that time I needed a negative result to leave the U.S. and another negative result to board a plane returning to the U.S. |

| Since I've already stated it's a country that does require a negative Covid test, it's obviously not the UK. The US no longer requires negative Covid tests for reentry. |
