But you never know. Sometimes a Cherry Jones in Doubt happens... I can't even say who I'd have chosen (probably Kathleen, if I'm honest).
While I have no doubt that Metcalf would have been Tony worthy, and nominated, I think it's very possible someone else could have edged her out, especially having won Lead Actress in a Play so recently. If that had been up against Dana H... who knows.
