| I know that, this year, there was a lot of "it's about time" sentiment regarding Angela Lansbury's lifetime Tony. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't believe Kander & Ebb have ever received one. Of course, dear Fred Ebb is long gone, but Kander is still with us. I'd argue he's our greatest living Broadway composer and he seem to be in good health for a man in his mid-90s. Someone recently posted that wonderful Twitter thread about the grandson of a college friend of Kander's reconnecting with him a few weeks ago and Kander looked healthy and out and about at lunch in New York. Not to be morbid, but it would nice for him to receive such a well deserved honor while he remains active and engaged. | |

| John Kander, Sheldon Harnick and Charles Strouse should've co-presented Best Score at the 75th Tony Awards on the CBS telecast! | |
