I'm glad i had the chance to see this and hear the wonderful score and watch everyone popping in and out of that dazzle dazzle Tony winning set.
Amazing that Patti found new things to say and do with the character of Joanne even after playing it so many times before
But I agree also that large chunks of this production having to do with making Bobbie a she just didn't work.
And Im sorry to say that Katerina Lenk an actress i liked in "Indecent" and "The Band's Visit" seemed lost and unfocussed in trying to create her character.
