I can imagine they didn't want to spoil the surprises, but for a production that was most noticeable for how well it nailed the comedy, that number is a comic tour de force and prompted a mid-show standing ovation the night I saw it. It might not have helped, but damn, if any number could have sold tickets, that was the one.
