I saw the show last Sunday matinee, June 19, and she was VERY much on, sounded great and got a standing O after "Ladies Who Lunch." I've never heard she, nor anyone, told that last note for sooooo long. It was thrilling. She knew it, we all knew it. She deserved that Tony.
PS: The whole cast was on that show, actually... Matt Doyle was still on Cloud 9, it might be fair to guess... His smile was infectious. |
