I didn't see Bonnie And Clyde on Broadway, but ironically, I find it to be one of his better scores, by far. (I'm not at all fond of the treacly pop-era ballad side of his writing, but the rock-ier, sexier nature of the B&C score works for me.)
But - do regional theatres even do it? I don't think anyone in the Boston area has even thought about it. Or any of his shows, really. |
